Dick King-Smith is the immensely popular author of many books for children, including THE NINE LIVES OF ARISTOTLE, CLEVER LOLLIPOP, LADY LOLLIPOP, and THE SHEEP-PIG, which was later turned into the Oscar-winning movie BABE. He lives in Bristol, England.
About the illustrator
Mini Grey was given her name after being born in a Mini Cooper in a car park in Wales. She has written and illustrated several books for children, including TRACTION MAN IS HERE!, a BOSTON GLOBE-HORN BOOK Award winner and a NEW YORK TIMES BOOK REVIEW Best Illustrated Children’s Book of the Year, and THE ADVENTURES OF THE DISH AND THE SPOON, recipient of the 2007 Kate Greenaway Medal. She lives in Oxford, England.
